Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists. *Please note - candidates will be hired by, work for, and paid directly by the hiring family* JOB ID 16159 *Please take note of this number, as it will be required during the application process and we cannot properly route your application without it* We’re currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in San Francisco, CA 94118 A lovely family in San Francisco is seeking an occasional babysitter for their easy going 14 month old to start as soon as possible. Care is needed intermittently and can fall on any day between Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. Care is also needed on Wednesday October 18th, Wednesday November 15th and Wednesday December 6th from 8am-5pm each day. The family is able to provide up to a week’s notice for most requests, however, there may be days when care is needed last minute for the following day. The child enjoys being read to, going to the nearby park, and stacking objects. There is a small dog in the home who may bark at new people. The family is open to keeping the dog out of the room if preferred; no pet care is needed. A great candidate will be active, engaging and safety cautious. Start date: ASAP Length of Position: Long term, minimum 1 year Schedule: Intermittent; days needed will fall on any day between Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Compensation: $28-$32 per hour _*** There are no guaranteed hours for this position_Upcoming days/times when care is needed: Wednesday October 18th, 8am-5pm Wednesday November 15th, 8am-5pm Wednesday December 6th, 8am-5pm RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to a schedule / routine for the children and complete a daily log of activities, meals and naps Change diapers and clothing when necessary (e.g. soiled, indoor/outdoor clothing) Providing age appropriate play-based activities in the home to support developmental milestones, playing with them in the home, on walks, or in the park Performing age appropriate developmental activities such as reading, singing, etc. Tidying child's spaces Clean meal time areas (e.g. pick up food on floor, wipe down high chair trays) REQUIREMENTS: Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional toddler care experience as a nanny or in a daycare setting Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start Must be eligible to work in the U.S. .
