B2B Sales Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The B2B Sales Manager, UK Nutraceuticals and Nootropics has sales responsibility for our products in the United Kingdom in the Food Supplements category. He (she) will develop and implement a sales strategy to increase gross sales revenue and increase market share while maintaining company margin objectives. The position will interact closely with business consumers to manage and grow Supremo Nutrition’s domestic B to B business. The successful candidate is an outstanding communicator with a positive demeanour and strong team-orientation, which is vital to meeting our aggressive growth plans.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Develop and implement the strategic sales plan to attain sales goals as defined by mutually-agreed KPIs for market share, demand generation, partnering and alliances, product mix and profitability.
· Plan for, facilitate and drive follow-ups for customer presentations and meetings.
· Map customer organization and identify key decision-makers. Develop effective business relationships with those high level customer contacts.
· Assist in problem escalation and resolution to maintain and expand customer business relationships. Own the customer interface during resolution.
· Identify and qualify new opportunities and continually develop a new sales pipeline per mutually- agreed KPIs. Track progress of customer projects and identify resource gaps and/or deviations from project timeline to COO for resolution.
· Educate and train customers on the features, advantages and benefits of Supremo Nutrition products.
· Attend and actively participate in selected industry tradeshows.
· A seasoned business traveller who is willing to travel as much as 50% of the time. Due to the nature of this role, there may be periods in which travel exceeds 50%
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Minimum 8 years of business experience primarily in a B to B sales capacity at a nutritional ingredient manufacturer. Selling experience into the UK Food Supplement market is highly desirable. Pharma industry experience preferred but not necessary.
· Proven track record of success attaining defined Sales goals.
· Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with decision-makers.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or Biology is highly preferred. Candidates with other degrees accompanied by appropriate experience will be considered.
KNOWLEDGE:
· Strong knowledge and understanding of nutraceuticals and nootropics is essential.
· Strong knowledge and understanding of the B to B sales process is essential.
· Excellent understanding of Windows desktop applications (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
· Knowledge of CRMs like Sales Force is helpful.

· Strong business person who considers issues from a business perspective; brings business and financial acumen to the role and uses this to complement his/her functional depth.
· Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
· Strong team and customer orientation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position will be remotely based from a home office. Therefore, candidate needs to be able to work effectively as a remote employee. The work environment is team-oriented with a strong focus on driving new Sales. We supply international and domestic customers from factories in India. The pace of work is very fast and often requires working before and/or after normal work hours.
LOCATION:
Flexible but London, UK base is preferred.
