Job description
As a B2B Appointment Setter you will be working on behalf of our client who have an existing partnership with one of the UK’s leading phone and broadband providers.
You will be responsible for contacting businesses located around the UK to discuss their current existing telephone line with our clients partner to discuss transferring from the old public switched telephone network (PSTN) to a new fully digital service. You will be required to speak to gate keepers within the business to establish the key decision maker and then ask a series of questions to assess suitability for the transfer. Once the suitability has been assessed your aim will be to arrange an appointment for either an on-site or video meeting between the business and one of our clients sales representative’s to discuss all features and benefits of the service with the outlook of transferring the phone lines to digital.
The ideal candidate will have a professional phone manner and the ability to remain resilient throughout the day whilst facing rejection and a strong desire to achieve challenging targets and KPI’s within the role.
Salary & Bonus:
This role has a basic salary of £22,672 per annum.
We also offer an uncapped commission scheme, which means you could take home an OTE of £27,500
We have recently introduced our ‘Loyalty Pay Scale’ scheme, which will see your salary increase during your tenure up to £23,000 basic per annum.
Shifts:
You will be contracted at 40 hours per week, 9am till 6pm, Monday to Friday.
Start Date: Monday 17th April
Location:
You will be based at our offices located on Ecclesall Road, Sheffield (S11). Our offices are a short walk from the city-centre with excellent transport links from surrounding areas.

- Self-motivated and driven to achieve challenging sales targets
- A confident individual
- The ability to hold conversation will people of all ages and backgrounds and can easily build rapport with customers
- A professional phone manner with the ability to speak to gate keepers and key decision makers within businesses.
- Sales experience is preferred but not essential
- Previous experience within a B2B of appointment setting role is preferred but not essential
- Transferrable skills from previous employment (retail, hospitality, contact centre)
- The ability to handle rejection and remain resilient throughout the day
