Cloud Foundational Services, a part of Public Cloud Engagement and Adoption (PCEA), acts as the focal point across all of JPMC's cloud capabilities. It provides the central suite of tools and APIs that manage access to public cloud capabilities in a secure and compliant manner, defines the developer experience to bind cloud resources into a coherent ecosystem and, in partnership with both Enterprise Technology Product Lines and Lines of Business, drives the adoption and best practices for the implementation of cloud capabilities.

Working in the Strategic Delivery team as an experienced project professional in the Cloud Foundational Services product line you will be responsible for the delivery of strategic initiatives relating to our Public Cloud Foundational Services product.

Job responsibilities:
  • Acting as an enabler, you will work closely with the engineering, architecture and product management functions
  • Help build and manage the book of work to maintain and develop our existing Public Cloud Platform
  • Initiatives you will be expected to drive include:
    • expansion of the firm's current services
    • onboarding of additional public cloud services
    • driving the successful adoption of cloud services into the firm
    • guiding our business through the strategic and technical facets of their Cloud transformation journey

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Experience of delivering platforms at scale via any of the major public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), ideally in a financial markets setting
  • Solid understanding of the public cloud including the value proposition, architectural concerns, adoption pros and cons and the major groupings of cloud product offerings
  • Strong project management expertise coupled with some experience of managing multiple streams of delivery concurrently
  • A strong understanding of current project management methods; stakeholder management; budget management, risk management and operations
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the firm, from C-level executives, through the architecture functions and to developers working on cloud-based applications
  • Ability to enhance communication and continuity across teams
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira & Confluence
