As an Avionic & Technical Data Control Engineer, you will be expected to work closely with Fleet Technical Management and establish working relationships with Fleet Engineers in the areas of Avionics, Technical Library, Components, Airframe systems Maintenance Programmes, and Reliability. You will also liaise with system/equipment manufacturers to ensure continued airworthiness to improve aircraft availability and system reliability.
Your main responsibility will be to ensure that easyJet meets its Continuous Airworthiness obligations as required by EASA Part ‘M’ and CAMO, with a focus on maximizing safety, reliability, and value. This will involve ensuring that all aircraft and systems operate safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and filling all technical documentation required for the continued Airworthiness of the fleet.
What you need to do the role
To be considered for the role of Avionic & Technical Data Control Engineer, you must hold a recognized Degree in an Aircraft Engineering or Aeronautical discipline. It would be ideal if you have post-graduate experience within an aviation environment, demonstrating your ability to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical context.
You should have a good understanding of the functions of EASA Part M and CAMO, and be confident with the use of Microsoft Office applications. A motivated and committed attitude, along with a passion for continuous improvement, will be essential for success in this role. You must also be flexible in your approach and adaptable to change, as the aviation industry is constantly evolving.
A sound knowledge of airworthiness regulations and legislation is also required, as this will enable you to ensure that easyJet's fleet operates safely and efficiently while complying with all regulatory requirements. This position demands a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to achieve common goals.

Location & Hours of Work
This is a full-time permanent role will be based in Hangar 89, London Luton Airport and will be 40 hours per week.
