The role: Aviation Wordings Technician – Marsh – London or Norwich (Hybrid)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Aviation Wordings Technician to join the Marsh UK Aviation Wordings Team based in either London or Norwich and will be Hybrid working.
The Aviation Wordings Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all details contained in a Market Reform Contract (MRC) are reviewed and correct prior to the MRC being sent to Underwriters for their quotations and they will need to ensure that all the correct clauses are incorporated and any conflicting clauses or ambiguities contained within the MRC are removed or clarified.
This position requires an excellent understanding of the English language as well as superb attention to detail and may suit either recent graduate looking for a role within insurance or even someone with experience producing legal documents like a paralegal.

We will rely on you to:
- To review the details contained in a Market Reform Contract (MRC) prior to the MRC being sent to Underwriters for their quotations. Ensure that all the correct clauses are incorporated and any conflicting clauses or ambiguities contained within the MRC are removed or clarified.
- To produce wording documentation for new and renewal business extracting information from Market Reform Contracts (MRC) once a firm order is received for airlines and aerospace business.
- To review Accident and Health (A&H) MRCs prior to quotation and to produce wording documentation for the MRC once a firm order for the contract is received.
- To provide coverage critiques of competitors wordings.
- You will gain knowledge and develop a deep understanding of standard and non-standard clauses and wordings and develop your ability to think laterally on coverages.
- You will build and manage relationships with our colleagues including account managers and brokers.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office and Excel, and all relevant Marsh business applications
- Good prioritisation and organisational skills
- Time Management skills
- Ability to learn, work in a team and individually
