If so, apply now, as we are looking for an Aviation Safety Data Analysis ASDA Associate Trainer / Consultant, with the Baines Simmons DNA, to join our ever growing team of Associates.
What you will be doing:
Associate Consultants are responsible for making a difference to Baines Simmons customers across the Consulting, Training and Managed Services proposition. The role is pivotal to the delivery of the BSL strategy, continuous improvement of the portfolio and exploitation of SMARRT MAP™ as part of the Baines Simmons proposition, products and services.
You will:
· Deliver against, manage and assure standards for technical delivery, reporting and investigating occasions where quality has been compromised
· Continuously improve the client experience through the Baines Simmons Quality Management System (QMS) and feedback mechanisms
· Ensure products & services are developed, maintained and managed in accordance with Baines Simmons standards and processes
· Support Product Development in the continuous monitoring and reporting of the health of products in respect to technical and regulatory developments, industry best practice, customer feedback and competing products
· Support the development of products & services from ‘cradle to grave’ in collaboration with the Head of Products & Services
· Ensure that all products are aligned with SMARRT MAP™, relevant, current and stimulating
· Ensure that all products & services have a complete package that supports operations, BD, marketing and client needs
· Act as the owner of an area of SMARRT MAP™ (enabler or management system) or product owner for training and/or consulting products & services and tools
· Support BD with pre-sales meetings / calls to scope customer needs and propose solutions
· Feed back opportunities and client intelligence to BD in support of Account Management plans
· Contribute to BD and Marketing activity, content and opportunities
· Manage relationships (with internal and external stakeholders) to promote collaborative working with colleagues and Trusted Advisor status with customers
· Gain understanding and market intelligence of current and future needs
· Deliver successful and profitable client projects / programmes that deliver client satisfaction, reputational status and create further account growth
· Follow Baines Simmons QMS, procedures and standards to ensure quality output, continuous improvement and effective business management
· Provide technical support to the Head of Consulting & Training for Consultant development plans
· Represent Baines Simmons’ values, strategy and purpose at industry, regulatory and client events
· Lead, participate in and contribute to working groups that support industry improvement and regulatory enhancement
· Continually challenge industry and the market to drive world-leading thinking within Baines Simmons in support of the strategy
· Monitor and communicate changes in Industry and the market that will affect the business
· Provide subject specific output to support the sales and marketing plan, e.g. Proposition support, Thought Leadership Papers and articles on their given subject
· Be an ambassador for change, championing sustainable cultural and behavioural change
What we are looking for:
Essential:
· Knowledge of Aviation Safety Data Analysis within the UK Defence Aviation Environment (UK DAE)
· Working knowledge of the following software / data analysis systems:
o UK Aviation Safety Information Management System (ASIMS) Analytics
o Vistair Intelligence
o Power BI
o Microsoft Excel
· Proven in-depth understanding of Safety Risk Management and supporting structures/concepts within the UK DAE
· Safety Risk practitioner, Set up or worked within a Management System. Regulatory Structure (MAA, CAA, EASA, bonus for multiple)
· Knowledge of BowTie risk analysis software
· A willingness to provide classroom and remote training with our pre-existing content, as well as offering consulting services (although previous experience is not essential)
· Competency with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
· An ability and willingness to travel as required for the role
· Good presentation skills
· Comfortable leading discussions with individuals and large groups and audience
· An ability to communicate in Aviation Technical English
· High Integrity

· Personable, and able to engage with a variety of personalities and cultures comfortably
