Audio Visual Technician
We are looking for a qualified AV Technician to assist in the day to day running of a resort style estate near Oxford.
You will perform maintenance tasks and fault finding on various Lutron lighting, Crestron AV, Trend BMS, CCTV and security systems.
- Understanding & installation of: Lighting & Blind control panels (Lutron, Crestron), TV/Satellite distribution Systems, Video Entry Systems & Access control/locking systems, CCTV Systems, cinema & Surround sound systems, Projectors/Projector screens.
- Good understanding of Networks, Vlan’s, able to use a laptop, VPN etc. to diagnose basic issues with systems, able to setup static IP’s on equipment.
- Lutron Programming/Commissioning, being able to use Crestron Toolbox, Networks scanners.
- Fault finding on other Systems such as but not limited to: Video Entry Systems, Surround sound systems, CCTV Systems.
- Being able to read & follow technical drawings & schematics.
- Ensuring when we are working in completed or in/around high end finishes that the area is protected well to avoid damage to third party finishes.
- General understanding of H&S to ensure they are working safely.
- Willingness to assist with other maintenance related tasks on the Estate.
Must Have Experience Required / Certifications Required:
- Minimum experience of 3 years in Residential AV Engineering
- A good overall understanding of Audio Visual Systems, how they work & how they connect.
- Knowledge understanding of networks.
- Understanding of Cinema systems & Surround sound.
- Able to read & understand technical drawings & schematics.
- Electrical knowledge.
- Faulty finding & problem solving.
- Lutron programming & other configuration-based software systems.

· Excellent communication skills
· Flexibility in terms of duties and changes of schedules
· Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
· Full UK driving license and own transport (due to location)
· Right to work in the UK
· Excellent checkable references and up to date DBS check
· Work Pattern: 5 days a week with flexibility required to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis with time off given in lieu.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
