Condé Nast is looking for a London based Audio Visual Analyst to join the Digital Workplace team – a strategic, cross-functional group that directly supports all of Condé Nast’s client base.
This individual will be responsible for event production, hardware maintenance and incident resolution. The employee will be part of the Meeting & Event Technology Team, based in both London and New York. The Analyst will work with cross-functional teams within Global Technology as well as our internal partners in Editorial, Marketing and Revenue. This role is hands-on, requiring both technical expertise and the ability to communicate technical concepts to end-users at every level of Conde Nast. Candidates should have a technical background, understand video production requirements and be a proficient Zoom administrator.
The candidate will report to the Audio Visual Production Director, based in New York.

Migrating and consolidating to a centralised set of technologies that can be easily leveraged by any brand is a top business priority.
The Meeting & Event Technology (M&ET) team works globally, based out of New York and London, overseeing event production and meeting space technology for Condé Nast’s employees, clients and consumers.
M&ET does 3 things:
We are Condé Nast’s internal resource for live and virtual event production
We are the global Zoom administrators
We are responsible for the design and implementation of meeting and event space based hardware around the world
What this job is about:

The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced corporate, professional environment; must be a problem solver, proactive and capable of working on tight deadlines. This position requires the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while working with high-level corporate executives in a respectful, professional manner. The candidate will report to the Audio Visual Production Director, based in New York.
Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of experience in the audio-visual field
- Deliver “the 3 things” to our UK brands, executives and communications teams.
- Manage logistics for large live and virtual events, including: vendor selection, signal flow design, hiring crew and, at times, calling the show.
- Perform below-the-line positions for smaller events, including: audio tech, camera op and video switching.
- Be the lead Zoom administrator for two London offices - both with user accounts and with Zoom Rooms
- Have an understanding of AV design - both with integrated systems and with ad hoc solutions including and not limited to:
- The ability to read and author signal flow charts
- Experience in choosing hardware rentals and purchases
- Be a thought partner in event planning production meetings with the Events, Marketing and Brand teams.
- Manage vendors, negotiate pricing and author RFPs.
- Respond to any request for changes or additions in AV equipment
- Prioritize multiple simultaneous projects and complete projects within agreed-upon deadlines
- Determine what events to personally support, what to outsource and when to train our internal clients to be self-supporting.
- Recommend new or additional equipment that would help M&ET better serve its colleagues
- Keep an inventory of AV equipment
- Conduct training classes on AV equipment for the appropriate staff members as needed
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- A calm and professional demeanor in a high stress, live event environment
- Ability to “call a show” and write a cue sheet.
- Experience working both above-the-line and below-the-line positions on live events, shoots and/or broadcasts.
- Ability to produce timely, concise and effective presentations, meetings and correspondence.
- Familiarity with the following is a plus:
- GSuite - Slides, Calendar, Sheets
- Okta, or similar SSO protocols
- vMix
- NDI, Dante Audio and API Integration
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed
