Job description
AV Field Service Engineer - This is a new position for a specialised friendly AV systems integrator who work on major projects in the higher education and corporate / commercial world. They are now seeking to add a new member of the team who will be an important player in keeping clients happy. The position is predominantly going to involve the service and preventative maintenance of previously installed AV systems, whilst on occasions helping out with the installation of AV kit. You will be working in the Midlands area and will be travelling to client sites so the ability to drive is a must. You will need have a good head on our shoulders to find fix issues problems, this could be a hardware problem or a software issues, so diagnostic skills are needed as well as the ability to think outside the box. Due to the nature of the position, you will need to be client facing and remain calm under pressure.
Technical Kit Knowledge required:
- Crestron, AMX, Extron
- Lighting DALI, Lutron, Audio, Video
- Videoconferencing / audioconference, mics
- DSP, Audinate Dante, Shure, Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser
- Rack / cabling / connector knowledge
- Projection, Videowalls, Screens, TV / Signal Distribution, LED
