in-tech is a dynamic, fast growing, global specialist engineering company head quartered in Munich Germany employing around 1950 employees globally across 22 project locations in 10 countries.
Our UK location based out of Warwick in the West Midlands is continuing to expand and is seeking further automotive software test engineers to join our team collaborating on a component testing project in the powertrain domain.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our European engineering testing teams running tests with remote access to our HIL systems
- Develop, write and implement new test cases
- Run automated test suites and create new test scenarios
- Analysis of testing data and report overall test status results in a managed process
- Document software defects using tracking systems and reporting defects to our customer
- Work with specific tools and hardware, CANape, Controldesk, Doors, Jira
- Communicate efficiently and successfully to our engineers working in foreign locations
Requirements
The ideal candidate would be a graduate ideally in either systems, software or electrical engineering. In additional to this you will need to meet the following requirement:
- Plus 3+ years of professional experience with detailed knowledge of HIL (Hardware-in-loop) testing
- Ability to understand the requirements of a components function to be able to create new test cases
- Strong experience in automated testing
- Experience in using CANape, Python, Jira and Doors
- Broad experience in the automotive sector with a strong understanding of a vehicle systems and the methods of testing a vehicle
- Independent and proactive way of working with an ability to communicate effectively with various different development teams in different countries
- Close proximity to our Warwick office for a weekly collaboration meeting with the project teams
- Located in the UK and can commence the position within 30 days of being selected.
