The role:
As Technical Specialist you will be our point of contact for product & technical information, repair techniques, Client Technical Information Systems and administration procedures. You will be working closely with our Automotive clients and internal teams to maximise performance at the roadside.
You will identify roadside repair opportunities through analysis and identification of issues. You will focus on product quality through identification of emerging technical issues and detect areas where our operational resources can provide remote repair solutions.
Hours: will be working a 35-hour week, between the hours of 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday however, due to the nature of the role your hours may vary in line with business needs. This position can be fully remote, however you will be required to attend team/client meetings as required.
Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 DOE plus £3,000 performance bonus
You will:
- Build excellent working relationships with the relevant Quality and Technical teams within the clients’ business
- Work closely with account managers and technical teams to analyse scheme performance and product behaviour
- Exchange technical information to drive roadside repair and product quality
- Produce technical bulletins for management, roadside technicians and our network of recovery operators
- Provide helpdesk support our roadside technician team in relation to parts identification, diagnostic procedures and repair procedures
- Provide support to our agent network for assistance recovery information
- Work with our assistance teams to improve telephone repair, fault diagnosis and missed opportunities
- Assist with technical awareness and new starter induction training
- Liaise with our internal claims team on a regular basis share information and to be fully conversant with warranty T&Cs
About you:
- You will hold a C&G Technician Certificate parts I, II and III or equivalent, and ideally have a Master Technician qualification and/or L3 HV qualified
- Ideally you will have motor trade experience within a manufacturer or franchise retailer
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse and interpret complex data
- Strong administration, problem solving and organizational skills
- Good knowledge of Word & PowerPoint and advanced Excel skills
- You will be able to manage multiple tasks and work to strict deadlines
- With a focus on quality, you will be proactive, flexible and adaptable to changing situations
- You must hold a full current driving licence
