Tire Warehouse in Lake Orion has an opening for an experienced Automotive Repair Technician with ASE certifications a premium. Opportunity and position information: We will provide up to a $5,000 Sign-On/Relocation bonus, AND up to $45 an hour flat rate - all Customer pay – NO WARRANTY PAY! ***** Monday to Friday WORK WEEK!!!!!!! Our General Manager has been with us for 46 years and our Technicians and Service Advisors have been with us from 14 to 33 years. Besides being the dominate independent repair facility in Northern Oakland County, some of our distinguishing features are: Modern New 22-Bay spacious workspace with lots of window light and Snap-On lifts widely spaced. We are heavily biased to auto repair, but because our roots are in tires, we have extraordinary high traffic. Technicians are paid on flat-rate labor produced, with one important distinction from a dealership – we are 100% customer pay, and with a liberal interpretation of Mitchell labor manual as well. We pay above-dealership hourly pay scale and do not discount our labor for warranty work. Techs work only 5 days a week (some are Saturday), and those most highly efficient are often over 70 hours. Our medical insurance has an unheard-of out-of-pocket expense. Generous Vacation time (PTO) to start 1:1 ratio of Service Advisors to Technicians (4/4) – I do not believe in overstaffing with Technicians, but I expect productive and efficient Technicians – which all means you will make more money! We have a unique digital inspection program that integrates with our software program and it has raised our ticket averages almost two hours – you make more money. We have the Ford, GM, and Chrysler factory scan tools with subscriptions and information that is complete and always up to date We are progressive – Mitchel, All-Data, latest generation of PICO scope, Identifix, CarFax, Infered scanner, G-Scan, Modus, and more.
