HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Automation Engineer with a strong understanding of PHP and expertise in test automation frameworks such as PHP Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Your proficiency in PHP, along with knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium, Behat, Cucumber, JUnit, or similar, will be essential in creating efficient and effective test suites.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using PHP and relevant test automation frameworks.

• Collaborate with the QA team, Developers and Product Owners to understand the software requirements and design test cases that validate functionality, performance, and usability.

• Implement automated test scripts and execute them to identify defects and ensure consistent software quality throughout the development process.

• Integrate test automation into the build and deployment process, ensuring continuous integration and delivery pipelines are properly tested.

• Troubleshoot and debug test failures, identifying root causes and resolving these in a timely manner.

• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software testing and automation, and actively contribute to improving our testing processes.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data.

• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback on code quality and testability.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience as a Software Automation Engineer, with a strong understanding of PHP and its testing frameworks.

• Proficiency in PHP programming and experience in developing automated tests using PHP Unit or similar frameworks.
