The role
We’re currently recruiting for a Auto Cell / Assembly Operator to join our existing team based at our Chippenham site. Reporting directly into the Auto Cell / Assembly Team Leader.
The main purpose is to assemble and finish plastic building products to company. According to BS and ISO standards.
Responsibilities
Working in the Assembly Robot Cell, Auto pack area, assembling on-line, and manual assembly, the main responsibilities include:
Ensure that products are assembled in accordance with all relevant standards.
Ensure Cell performance levels are achieved and maintained.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Policy and Procedures and that all work is undertaken to approrpiate standards.
Participate in the development and implementation of Chippenham improvement plans.
Enter and maintain all relevant information for shop floor data collection.
Enter and maintain all relevant information as required to meet QC standards.
Where identified and/ or necessary, be pepared to undertake training to improve skills.
Undertake work in other operational departments should the need arise.
Profile
Previous experience of short/medium size batch production.
Must be able to plan and organize activities of self.
Must be able to communicate effectively.
Demonstrable flexibility and adaptable work ethic
H&S Knowledge
Willingness to embrace change and improve processes as systems develop.
