Autism Learning Support Assistant –

I am currently recruiting an energetic, dedicated and experienced Autism Learning Support Assistant Assistant for our SEN school in Lewisham. The successful Autism Learning Support Assistant will be on a full-time long term contract starting as soon as possible.
- Job Title: Autism Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Lewisham
- Salary: Up to £100 per day !!
- Supporting children and young people with Autism/ASC, Moderate to Severe and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD)
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 16:00pm
- Providing a creative and fun learning environment
- Have a positive mindset, flexible approach, and a can-do attitude
- Have experience supporting people with Autism/ASC
Many of the students will communicate non-verbally, so being able to use Makaton or PECs will be ideal. You must be comfortable with personal care (feeding and toileting). As an Autism Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with other staff members and the multidisciplinary therapy team. Recent experience and a genuine passion for working with SEN pupils are essential. All applicants will need to hold a current enhanced Child Workforce DBS and be fully compliant to work in the UK.
