About the role
The role is within our growing audit team and will initially focus on managing the annual audit process for a portfolio of our clients and engaging in their wider objectives. There will be opportunities to progress within the team, take part in networking if you wish, contribute to its strategic goals along and have direct exposure to a partner lead service.
The person
The role is suitable for an existing audit manager, assistant audit manager or an audit senior with 1 to 2 years PQE in practice and looking to progress. Your salary and portfolio would be tailored to your experience and client sector preferences. You will have:
- A desire to take an interest in our clients and put them first.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with clients.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt.
- The ability to contribute and work with a team of audit managers.
- Good communication and time management skills to meet deadlines and balance work and professional studies.
- Desire to support and develop junior team members
- High attention to detail and able to analyse financial information.
- Willingness to contribute to our positive office and team environment.
- A good judgement of audit risk and be commercially minded.
- ACA or ACCA qualifications.
- Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards.
- Charity experience would be preferable but not essential.
- Comfortable with Microsoft products.
