We are looking for an Audit, Investigation and Training Lead to join our Clinical Risk & Quality Team who will be responsible for leading, innovating and supporting the development of improved clinical performance and compliance across Big Life/Self Help IAPT services. This person will also engage with operational managers and a number of key stakeholders to achieve clinical excellence, patient safety and regulatory assurance, and will directly manage a team of Audit & Investigation Officers.
The successful candidate will also advise and lead on the implementation of required quality requirements/standards, overseeing the implementation an annual programme of essential risk/governance training for all staff and managers, and will deliver Level 3 safeguarding training bi-annually as well as a new starter induction once a month.
The post holder will be required to undertake Serious Incident investigations as required, including attendance at inquest hearings to support ongoing service quality.
This post will sit within the Clinical Risk & Quality Team within the Health & Wellbeing division. As part of this team, you will also have the opportunity to undertake investigations and liaise with families to identify good practice or learning following the death of a client.
