An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join this modern and entrepreneurial Top 50 firm in the heart of London.
In addition to the traditional Audit, Accounts & Tax offering, the practice also offer a range of advisory services including: Forensic Accounting, Corporate Finance, Trust Accounting & Wealth Management services.
You will have the opportunity to assist on / lead a wide range of audits across a several industries for complex groups, SME’s and charities, with the majority of the audits based in Central London. The firm also audit a few international clients, so there will be opportunities to travel abroad.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of Statutory accounts for a sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
- Preparing Corporate Tax returns
- Supervising Trainee Accountants
- Audit Fieldwork and assisting the Audit Senior with the day to day audit process
- Leading small audits (depending on experience)
In this role, your time will be split between Audit (70%) and Accounts (30%) and you'll gain exposure to a broad range of industries, including: Entertainment, Property, Charities, Retail and Professional Services.
The ideal Semi Senior candidate will currently be working as a Trainee Accountant / Semi Senior at a similar firm. You be part way through the ACCA / ACA qualification and have gained a minimum of 18 months at an established UK firm. The firm will be able to provide you with full study support towards any remaining exams. They also allow hybrid working.
