We are now looking for an Audiologist to join our team in Exeter on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As an Audiologist, you will deliver diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology appointments to NHS patients.
Accepting referrals from primary and secondary care providers for adults and children, you’ll co-ordinate and conduct diagnostic and rehabilitative regimes and procedures. You’ll recommend appropriate treatments and signpost patients to referrals when necessary.
Managing a rehabilitative caseload, you’ll utilise care plans and assess and interpret a range of adult diagnostic and rehabilitation and paediatric test results.
You’ll also access further education, gaining experience and eventually undertaking MSc level STP education to enhance your skills.
Additionally, you will:
- Travel to local clinics and undertake domiciliary visits to deliver treatment
- Provide direct clinical supervision and mentoring for audiology trainees
- Ensure maximum effectiveness of hearing aid systems
To be considered as an Audiologist, you will need experience of the following:
- Adult Diagnostic Audiometry
- Adult Tympanometry
- Speech Audiometry
- Real Ear Measurement
- Impression Taking
- Earmould modifications
- Adult Fitting & Rehabilitation
- A BSc in Audiology or FdSc (Hearing Aid Dispensing)
- A knowledge of all NHS and digital models of hearing aids
- A practical knowledge of clinical Audiology and hearing aid technology
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in IT
The closing date for this role is the 9th June 2023.
Interviews will be held on the 16th June 2023.
