Audio Engineer/Tonmeister London, England
Job description
We are hiring Tonmeisters to work at our recording studios in Soho. We are The Thin White Duke and are situated just beneath a cocktail bar by the same name. We offer membership based recording suites which feature audio-over-ip, two production rooms, SSL controllers and a shared overdub room; all of which can be used in tandem. We use RME and Totalmix for routing and offer clients a choice of DAW including Protools, Logic and Ableton. Clients are also encouraged to use their own laptops.
We will train on using AVB protocol.
Skills Required Include:
- Proficiency using Protools, Logic and Ableton
- Proficiency miking live instruments including horns, strings, percussion and drum sets
- Troubleshooting Mac and Windows PC’s
- Tonmeister class of understanding audio
The position is full time and we offer a base rate of £13-15/hour.

Salary: £27,040.00-£31,200.00 per year
