General Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to assist the Audio Division in creating high-quality, innovative audiobooks across fiction, non-fiction and children’s.
You will be a self-starter and multi-tasker, with a strong interest in publishing, books and especially audiobooks; be creative, exceptionally organised and have a great eye for detail. You must be enthusiastic, eager to learn, a great communicator and a strong team player. You should be comfortable in a small team and in a versatile, fast-growing, fun business. The ability to be flexible and stay calm under pressure is a must.

Key responsibilities:
- Assisting the audio division in managing the audio publishing programme.
- Maintaining accurate bibliographic data.
- Working closely with editorial team to ensure manuscripts and artwork are received in a timely manner.
- Booking narrators and liaising with studios.
- Attending recordings.
- Listening and checking files.
- Communicating with retailers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Have excellent organization skills
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Confident using a variety of IT platforms
- Have experience of working in an office environment.
- An active interest in books and / or publishing industry experience preferred but not essential
