Job Purpose
Implement, manage and enhance Attendance Operations processes within the Law School
As an Attendance Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of attendance processes in the school, ensuring registers are available at location, attendance is logged correctly, answering student queries in relation to attendance and being available in centre to undertake attendance spot checks.
What you’ll be doing
Registering the creation, set up and distribution for all face to face and online classes- Liaising with CSA teams to ensure registers are prepared and collated for all Law School sites
- Liaising with faculty to ensure registers are posted on the day of the class happening
- Accurate and clear filing of all registers
- Supporting with teaching all tutors the register logging process and they are aware of attendance processes
- Attendance audits of logged registers to ensure attendance posted is accurate
- In class attendance audits to ensure that students are accurately logged as attending
- Responding to student queries relating to attendance and absences, via both the online query management system and face to face in centre

- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills
- Able to work with large, complex data sets
- Excellent computer/IT skills including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel
- The ability to work well in a team and be collaborative
- Strong numerical skills to enable you to analyse data
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work using your own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure, sometimes to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Have a strong desire and capability to learn new skills and new technologies
- Knowledge of the higher education sector
- Familiarity with Banner or a similar SIS
- Experience of developing new processes
