Here at Severn Trent Head Office in Coventry we are on the search for a Leakage Assurance Technician to join our team. The type of person we are looking for will need to have great attention to detail skills for looking at our monthly per capita reports. You will be using our systems and speadsheets to monitor how much water is being used in different areas and support next steps in looking out for opportunities to improve the way we work and make it more efficient.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
This role's responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to third line assurance sessions with external assuror.
- Delivering an excellent level of insight into assurance data, what’s changed and why, turning this into practical application and influencing the business to drive and deliver change. Identifying trends, opportunities and risks to performance at pace. Work with teams to develop improvement plans to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate risks quickly.
- Support and deliver water balance improvement projects.
- Apply technical knowledge and skills to build credibility, ensure the right priorities are focused on and manage expectations outside of the team.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
It would be ideal for the successful candidate to bring the below skills to the role:
- Excellent analytical skills and very strong technical experience (preferably of leakage management processes), being able to bring together operational and technical knowledge with ability to manage key stakeholders in order to drive and deliver measurable improvement in leakage performance.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and a ‘Right first time’ attitude.
- Ability to analyse and interpret data, think flexibly, problem solve, and play back insights to business teams.
- A track record of stakeholder engagement / management, demonstrating excellence in building relationships, gaining credibility and ongoing stakeholder management at all levels.
- Proficient use of Microsoft software packages.
