Ask yourself: Are you ready to move the world?New Balance are looking for an experienced Associate Trade Marketing Manager who will be responsible for marketing planning and execution across select UK Lifestyle Key Accounts. The role is suited to someone looking for the next step from a marketing executive level.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to New Balance’s growth across the UK by managing key relationships with our most important partners.
Major Accountabilities
Sell In:
- Work closely with the Trade Marketing Manager to plan account strategy, calendars, and campaigns, in line with the brands key stories, calendars and account growth plans.
- Create and present consumer-first, account specific pre-line marketing presentations that influence future buys
- Highlight gaps, challenges and opportunities from Global/EMEA plans for your accounts
Sell Out:
- Manage trade marketing budget, adopting a ‘test & learn’ approach to a portion of investment.
- Create, coordinate, and activate 360 wholesale marketing plans to achieve ideal sell through.
- Provide regular communication on upcoming and live activity along with industry and account updates (culture, competitors, innovation)
- Analyse & evaluate results to constantly learn and improve for future campaigns working closely across all departments such as; UK&IE sales, EMEA Marketing & product teams.
- Communicate results and return on investment to wider business.
- Budget responsibility and management across UK lifestyle channel.
- Integrate wider business opportunities, such as athletes & talent to activate key moments.
- Act as day-to-day marketing contact and build strong relationships with accounts.
- Work with wholesale creative teams, agencies and/or internal creative team to develop innovative ‘brand firsts’ experiential, instore & online marketing asset
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
Attainments:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a fast paced, brand led environment.
- A strong Trade and/or Retail and/or Digital marketing background is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the Lifestyle marketplace is desirable.
- Experience in managing & delivering trade marketing campaigns with knowledge of full marketing channel mix and consumer journey
- Process driven with a clear understanding of working across multiple stakeholders, wholesalers, seasons, products, agencies and departments.
- Experience managing and analysing digital campaigns.
- Highly organised and customer focused with a desire to succeed with a thriving brand.
- Instinctive brand guardianship and a desire to elevate company to reach goals.
- Creative and innovative thinker with a growth mindset - not afraid to try new things
- Strong analytical skills, data-driven and results orientated.
- Strong influencing skills, able to work with people at all levels of the business
- A people person and strong presenter who builds relationships easily
