Associate Scientist - Research
We now have an opportunity for Graduate Scientist to join our Discovery research team in Cheshire, UK. Our team is at the cutting edge of cell therapy research and is working on the development of ‘next generation’ T-Cell therapy products
Responsibilities Include:
- Contribute and support Research projects by conducting scientific experiments to an exceptionally high standard.
- Work with Research Scientists and Team Leaders to support the development of Instil Bio’s product range.
- Develop and run experiments to support the research & development the company’s product portfolio (cell culture (Cell line & Primary cells isolation and culture), Flow Cytometry, ELISA and PCR).
- Work with other departments across 2 sites.
- Analyse and support interpretation of data
Relevant Education Skills and Experience
As an Associate Scientist, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
- Masters or Degree qualified in a Biological sciences, Biotechnology, Immunology or related discipline
- Industrial laboratory experience in cell culture or molecular biology.
- Experience/ knowledge in a range of research and molecular biology techniques including cell culture, flow cytometry, ELISA, cellular assays and molecular biology techniques.
- Knowledge and experience of immunology or cell therapy is highly desirable.
- Experience/ knowledge in lentivirus production; Gene overexpression or knockout would also be an advantage.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills both verbal and written
