As Associate Professor - Nursing at BNU you will join an established senior leadership team to provide strong leadership for nursing teams for all fields of Nursing, (adult, child, mental health and learning disability) and Nursing Associates to promote innovation in nurse education, enhance quality, and student experience.
You will lead, develop, and champion nursing; grow nursing programmes and enhance the nurse education. In the role of Associate Professor - Nursing you will make a significant contribution to Education, Professional Practice and research, develop high quality student centred academic programmes underpinned by academic scholarship (research, knowledge exchange and professional practice). You will strengthen the external profile for nursing at BNU for practice, education, innovation, research and enterprise, maintain and grow their own national profile in nursing in education, practice and /or research, enterprise and innovation.
For this role you will require current registration with the NMC as a nurse, you will be qualified to masters level in a relevant subject and be a highly skilled leader and manager. You will need to have extensive experience and be able to demonstrate depth of understanding of nurse education including current opportunities and challenges.
