Your team:
As such, Performance Measurement sits within the Strategic Analytics team at Invesco Real Estate, which is recognised for providing forward-looking views on the markets. Our strategy process is integrated into the investment decision making process and supports all parts of the business.
What we are looking for:
We are searching for our next Associate, Performance Analyst in our London office, working closely with the lead Performance Analyst Europe as well as the wider European Strategic Analytics team. In this role you will deliver analytic support to all areas of the European business (i.e. fund management, transactions, asset management, client relationship management).
Among your responsibilities could be:
MSCI / INREV measurement project
Extracting full value from MSCI / INREV outputs
Develop and maintain a quarterly fund return summary report for the EEC, and develop further reports as the need arises
Support RFP responses through the development and management of a performance KPI database
Develop an internal performance reporting database to reduce reliance on MSCI for composite reporting
Maintain the additional value track record and build-out a complementary core and core plus track record
Support the Steering Committee group through the provision of performance analysis
Provide training & support to Investment Operations to help embed industry standard performance measurement into client reporting
To build understanding of funds, strategies, investment process and internal and external reporting requirements
Look to become highly proficient in the use of internal data systems in order to propose improvements to existing processes and exploit new sources of information as they become available.
What you can bring:
Some professional experience, ideally Real Estate private equity fund and investment transaction experience or valuation role with RICS preferred in European real estate.
Good interpersonal and communication skills including ability to explain and articulate investment performance and strategy, by using appropriate arguments and interact in an interactive team across the EMEA region.
Excellent data analysis skills (experience with Microsoft PowerBI, Python, RStudio, Alteryx, or other software to build analytical tools would be an advantage)
Self-motivated, intellectually inquisitive, organised with the willingness to meet important deadlines. Ability to handle and prioritise multiple projects and tight timelines.
Compliance awareness and knowledge
Appropriate level of numeracy and accuracy
Additional languages (eg. German or French) would be a strong advantage
