Job description

We are recruiting residential House Parents for our summer schools, a fantastic opportunity to acquire skills that will stay with you for your life!

Employment dates are from the 8th of July to the 24th of July 2023 (inclusive)

House Parents are responsible for:

• managing and being responsible for the day-to-day running of a residential building ensuring the welfare of all students
• providing appropriate pastoral care and supervision
• the organisation and delivery of a varied and interesting social programme for students

As part of our commitment to safeguarding the welfare of all students studying at our summer schools, all applicants should note that:

• all gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily
• any job offer is subject to successful references and a satisfactory DBS certificate including a check of the Barred list. TIE will run the check and cover 50% of its cost
• all reference requests will ask specifically whether there is any reason that prospective employees should not be employed in situations where they have responsibility for, or substantial access to, persons under 18
• proof of identity and (where applicable) qualifications will be required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £365.00-£504.00 per week
