Where appropriate, you will also provide support by attending regular customer calls. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a focus towards customer satisfaction and problem resolution. The Associate Engineer will be a self-motivated individual with excellent organisational skills and the drive to take accountability for their work.
Key Requirements
- We are looking for a switched-on individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
- We are looking for someone with good written communication skills who can demonstrate their ability to write technical reports and form conclusions.
- We are looking for someone who will understand and be able to build and dismantle small assemblies machined to tight tolerances.
- Therefore, your CV and Cover Letter will be essential for you to demonstrate your hands-on knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and components. You'll also need to convey your ability to acquire technical information and converse with this jargon professionally.
- It will be a distinct advantage if you can demonstrate your experience conducting investigations and fault finding, especially if you achieved this through liaising/collaborating with your colleagues.
- Experience in investigating the root cause of mechanical components' failure is required, and the ability to interpret hydraulic performance data would be a distinct advantage.
In return, Moog can offer you:
- A culture of trust and innovation.
- 33 Days Annual Leave (including Bank Holidays).
- Benefits to include Life Assurance, Company Pension Contribution beginning at 6%, Employee Share Option in addition to an extensive Flexible Benefits Package and Hybrid working arrangements.
- Brand new Design, Manufacture, Assembly & Test facility currently being built with a view to move in during 2023.
- This role is working 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Thursday (start between 7:30am and 9:00am, finish from 16:00), and Friday (start between 7:30am-9:00 am and finish from 13:00).
