Job Title: Associate Director of Strategic Projects

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Pay: £67,064 per year

An excellent opportunity as arisen within IFM Bolton for an Associate Director of Strategic Projects to join our Management team, for iFM Limited based at the Royal Bolton Hospital. This role will report to the Director of Capital & Strategic Projects and work closely with colleagues within the department and throughout the hospital.

Successful candidates must be able to prove their Right to Work in the UK. Interviews are expected to take place on 15th February 2023 and will consist of a competency based interview and a presentation.

Job Role:

  • Be responsible for the development and implementation iFM’s strategy, undertaking a vital role in shaping and growing of the iFM brand.
  • Direct responsibility for the management and leadership of the Community Estate, including FM service delivery and managing lease events, and managing the relationship with our landlords NHS Property Services, and Community Health Partnerships. Ensuring our community clinical customers and our patients receive high quality services.
  • Leading transformational behavioural change across the business, further increasing a positive health, safety and environmental culture.
  • Support and actively participate in the Sustainability/Carbon Management Strategy.
  • Ensure robust systems and processes are in place through management teams to ensure all operational tasks are completed to the required frequencies / monitor and record.
  • Act as a strategic business partner, change agent and member of the senior management team.
  • To take overall operational responsibility and accountability for ensuring the community environment is safe for patients, visitors and staff.
  • Direct management responsibilities of the Medical Engineering, HSDU, Community & Telecoms/Helpdesk teams, ensuring compliance and governance processes are in place.
  • To deputise for the Director of Capital and Strategic Projects as required.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Master’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in relevant field
  • Facilities Management commercial experience
  • Extensive experience of managing projects within Facilities Management
  • Healthcare Estates Experience
