Founded in 1965 under the sponsorship of the Congregation of Holy Cross, Moreau Catholic High School emphasizes college-preparatory excellence in all programs designed to facilitate the informative, formative, and transformative needs of the individual student. Located approximately 25 miles southeast of San Francisco, in Hayward, California, the school is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). With 784 students, the co-educational student body reflects the rich ethnic and cultural diversity of the Bay Area, and the school has enjoyed a 99% collegiate matriculation. Our graduating seniors have been accepted into 1,000+ universities and colleges yearly, and have garnered, on average, between $11-14 million in scholarships and grants.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Admissions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Admissions and Mariner community in all aspects of the admission process while sharing creative ideas to improve upon existing admission practices.
- Partner with the Director of Admissions to collaboratively coordinate the admission committee processes, including active participation through reading applicant files and managing the reading process.
- Work with the Director of Admissions to design and coordinate enrollment management processes in collaboration with the Business office.
- Cultivate relationships with prospective families and steward them through the entire admissions cycle-prospect to enrolled (inquiry, applicant, tours, enrolled, and re-enrolled).
- Supports the Director of Admissions with a series of planned events including Open House, Honors at Acceptance, Spring Welcome, Frosh Orientation, and off-campus community events with ownership of the following events:
- Campus Tours, Support School Visits, and Shadow Days
- Liaise and develop relationships with 8th-grade teachers, counselors, and school officials, and access programs to assist their students and families through the application process.
- In consultation and collaboration with the Director, design and coordinate recruitment initiatives to meet goals and represent the school at admission events, school fairs, school visits, community outreach opportunities, and off-campus events.
- Coordinate and administer all admissions assessments such as the High School Placement Test, 8th-grade High School Placement Test workshop, and 7th-grade Practice High school Placement Test for prospective students.
- Maintain an accurate database of all applicant information to ensure consistent management and communication of pipeline activity and funnel counts; utilize data to inform strategic deployment of resources.
- Coordinate the Student Ambassador and Parent Ambassador programs to promote and provide information to support schools, parents, and parish/school communities.
- With the Director of Admissions, co-design and support the implementation of Summer Programming to serve and attract potential new families.
- Manage the swag and promotional items to appeal to diverse constituents and elevate the profile of Moreau Catholic High School.
- Support international student applications and serve as an additional Designated School Official in SEVIS to issue, maintain, and execute international student program initiatives, including I-20s.
- Travel internationally as needed for periodic annual student recruitment events.
- Represent the school with professionalism, competence, courage, and charisma at various on and off-campus gatherings to diverse groups of educators, prospective families, and stakeholders.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, communications, marketing or public relations.
- Familiarity with and passion for the Holy Cross charism and the Catholic high school educational ecosystem.
- Proficiency with computer programs, systems, databases, and the use of technology in the delivery of admissions services.
- Strength in a variety of communication channels, including email, phone, letters, and passion for communication through online channels including our website & social media.
- Superb writing and editing skills, experience and comfort facilitating committee meetings, preparing and making presentations in various public forums.
- Appreciation for cultural diversity; ability to establish cooperative, joyful, effective working relationships with diverse groups of individuals, ranging from senior management, administration, board members, corporate leaders, faculty, staff, volunteers, alumni, students, parents, and the general public in a diverse and inclusive community.
- Ability to bring energy, creativity, and professionalism while demonstrating tact and compassion and enhancing the image and positive relationships of the school.
- Possession of a valid U.S. passport and the ability to travel internationally for school business.
- Fluency in a language other than English is desirable.
Annual Salary $82,000 - $92,000 DOE
