SUMMARY:
The Associate Director, Professional Marketing, will lead our integrated marketing efforts to the Eye Care Professional (ECP) and Patient customer audiences for the launch of Nyxol Phentolamine Ophthalmic Solution indications. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, Marketing, the candidate will take a significant role in the development and execution of pre-launch and launch planning inclusive of brand strategies and tactical plans utilizing deep marketing knowledge and former successful eye care marketing experience
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Working collaboratively to develop the overall marketing launch strategy for Nyxol indications, initially focused on reversal of mydriasis.
Leading development of product positioning and messaging including conducting supportive market research and advisory boards.
Creating marketing pre-launch and launch plans outlining tactics to address strategic imperatives for a successful launch.
Developing and rolling out pre-launch unbranded initiatives and post-launch ECP & Patient field promotional materials including but not limited to core visual aid, product brochure, rep-triggered emails, patient materials, and objection handlers.
Overseeing omnichannel marketing efforts focused on ECPs including development of strategy, targeting, media plan, website, email, display ads, and print ads, etc.
Creating congress content, including messaging, booth design and coordinating onsite materials in collaboration with meeting planning and across brands.
Lead the development and management of the brand's thought leadership plan.
Coordinating field sales Brand Council to gather relevant feedback & communicating promotional strategy and tactics to field sales teams with clear call to action.
Working cross-functionally with Commercial Operations, Sales, Customer Service Team, Thought Leader Liaisons, Training, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance and will collaborate with other members of the organization as required.
Partnering with agency team to prepare plans, budgets and timelines providing clear expectations, guidance, and feedback, ensuring excellent execution of key tactics and deliverables.
Work collaboratively with field management and training to train field personnel and customer service team
For all initiatives, whenever possible, establish ways to measure impact, report results, and adjust plans accordingly
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree required.
7+ years experience in pharmaceutical marketing
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Desired Experience:
Demonstrated success developing and executing strategic pre-launch and launch plans for prescription pharmaceutical brands with the health care professional and patient audiences.
Experience with sales and marketing in the ophthalmic pharmaceutical space; experience marketing buy-and-bill/cash model products a plus.
Demonstrated success in creating disease state education campaigns for the professional audience and experience with building relationships and professional advocacy among ophthalmologists and optometrists.
Experience with effective strategies for digital marketing such as programmatic, third-party endemic, trade media partnerships, and social media

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $152,400 to $228,600
