Job description
Why Arup?
Arup is a global professional services consultancy whose mission is to shape a better world. Within Arup the Emerging Markets and Development Clients Group works to contribute to safer, more sustainable inclusive and resilient communities, in contexts where the impacts of today’s global challenges are felt most acutely. We work with governments (national and sub- national), like-minded partners including bilateral and multilateral agencies, foundations, civil society organisations and research institutions, to deliver impactful projects in the global south.

All our projects and initiatives are designed and delivered in a way that promotes social inclusion and sustainable economic growth. This will require you to position and deliver services across a range of climate-related issues, with a broad focus on resilient and sustainable development. You will lead the climate and sustainability team within the Emerging Markets and Development Clients Group and work closely with climate and sustainability counterparts across Arup’s global network with a particular focus on driving services and building teams in Africa and South Asia where Arup is seeking to expand its presence and impact. Overall your work will contribute to Arup’s mission to ensure that climate and sustainability issues are at the heart of everything we do..
