We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Corporate Sales Origination. This is a GCB5 Associate level role.
The role holder will also ensure the HSBC values are present in everything they do, both individually and as an organisation. The role is working at HSBC offices at Canada Square, London and your home base. You should reside within a reasonable travelling distance and be able to work in London on a weekly basis. The role will require some travel for client meetings.
In this role you will
- Identify sales origination opportunities for MSS FX and Rates products from a given portfolio of corporate clients.
- Build and maintain existing business relationships and networks with clients to create organic sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with other business areas and internal stakeholders, including Relationship Managers, Global Payment Solution (GPS) and Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) to service client needs and improve share of wallet.
- Drive efficiency and profitability by championing adoption and use of alternative relevant service offerings, for example migrating transactional business to HSBC self-service e-capability.
- Create and implement short, medium & long term client sales strategies that further the deepen the relationship and drives enhanced revenue generation.
To be successful you should meet the following requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX cash & options etc) and Rates asset classes.
- Demonstrate stakeholder / client relationship management skills of large complex businesses at senior levels of decision making.
- Be in a front-line sales role and demonstrate the structure and skills of consultative sales techniques and actual deal making.
- Evidence of developing cross sell & up sell in and building organic growth.
- Be a total team player – prepared to put team priorities above your own for the greater good.
