Job description
- Excellent academic qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years' post-qualification legal experience in an international law firm or highly regarded in-house team
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Transactional experience, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Responsibilities include:
- Providing day-to-day legal support to the UK and EU Consumer business teams and developing strategies for handling legal issues in creative, efficient, and business-centric ways
- Helping business teams launch new services and features for customers and sellers in the UK and EU
- Serving as lead counsel in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
- Advising on strategies for commercial dispute resolution
- Advising on general regulatory issues and responding to contacts from regulators

- Some in-house experience preferred
- Experience in commercial or IP dispute resolution
- Ability to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent organizational skills and proficient in managing multiple projects and deadlines at once
- Capable of leading complex and time sensitive projects and co-ordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors
- Great business judgment and sharp analytical skills
