We are looking for:
An Associate Chemist to join our Purification Chemistry team to support of business and client requirements, contribute to the overall output of the department through the application of technical knowledge, expertise and skills in Purifying Small Molecules. Giving you a chance to develop and grow as a Chemist.

Requirements:
BSc Chemistry/MSc or equivalent industrial experience
Requirements:
- Experience in HPLC/TLC
- Good written and verbal communication skills, computer literate
- Time management
- Process COSHH awareness
- Practical competence
Key roles and responsibilities:
Carry out product purification and co-ordination of purification work in support of the manufacture of labelled compounds.- Complete all work efficiently and tidily within specified time scale, taking responsibility for allocated work with overall control from their Team Leader.
- Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
- Actively acquire new skills and knowledge. Learn from experience. Understand consequences of actions for self and others.
- Ensure good communication with other departments and sections within Pharmaron.
- Undertake projects or duties as requested by the Team Leader and to support the Team Leader in ensuring the best performance of the business.
- Ensure that waste is processed, recorded, and transferred according to documented procedures.
- Assist with the general running of the Teams and the Chemistry group, by maintaining a good standard of laboratory housekeeping and help with routine tasks.
- Comply at all times with the Laboratory safety Policy.
- Comply with company Policies and Procedures and/or Standard Operating Procedures and where identified notify line management of required changes to these Policies and Procedures.
- Model the Pharmaron behaviours applicable to this role.
