Our colleagues in the IT team are looking for a new Associate Business Analyst to join our Media City office.

As we’re putting our hearts and souls into the future of food, we’ll be looking at you to be responsible for serving as a liaison between the business community working with IT business partner or directly with business and the IT organization to translate business needs into IT requirements. You would be involved in all phases of the design, development and implementation of technology solutions throughout the business case and development life cycle processes.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• 
  Participates in process mapping and planning in workshop sessions to ensure understanding of business processes align with goals and direction.
• Supports and maintains relationship with business stakeholders and IT organization as directed.
• Conducts data gathering and analysis to understand the assets that are in the business
• Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of asset management solutions.
• Identifies and recommends new processes and enhancements to business systems needed to achieve business strategy and goals.
• May Iterates reviews of solutions between development team and business.
• Assists in assessing asset management needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities.
• Conducts research and analysis on ITIL framework to contribute to following best practice

  Typically requires a working knowledge of relevant technical or business work experience.
• Requires basic knowledge of business operations and IT processes.
• Within the Information Technology organization, there are also a set of functional competencies that define success for an IT professional. We are looking at someone who has good process and data management knowledge.
