Reporting to the Senior Associate, Data Protection having responsibilities within the Data Protection Office within the legal department this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic team with a global remit.

You will:

• Assist the Data Protection Office general administration, such as task management and team meeting summaries
• Co-ordinate the preparation of various reports such as board, committee and forum reports.
• Support the Data Protection team in the administration of the OneTrust application, overseeing its daily operations.
• Contribute to the maintenance of various Data Protection logs, records and plans.
• Providing input for training and awareness exercises within the organisation
• Support execution of monitoring activities
• Provide assistance in the execution of data protection assessments, ensuring accuracy in completion.
• Participate in reviews of regulatory updates and changes.

• Hold a relevant degree or other third level qualification.
• Prior experience in data protection or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with the OneTrust application is advantageous.
• Must be willing to work towards OneTrust relevant certifications.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of data protection laws such as GDPR etc.
• Good communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse audience.
• Ability to work diligently while maintaining a high level of integrity, trust, and confidentiality.
• Strong organisational/planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
• Aspiring to further develop skills in data protection and privacy.
