The Senior Associate will assist Brand Leads across the Brand Innovation team in the development and execution of new and exciting marketing campaigns across the Connected Commerce line of business. They will be responsible for driving the day-to-day operations of executing creative initiatives, as well as contributing to strategic branding decisions across various products and features. They will also play a central role in managing agency partners in the ideation and execution of upcoming programs to achieve the short and long-term business objectives across Connected Commerce.
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about brand management, advertising and executing campaigns to schedule, scope, and budget. They are someone who proactively pushes new thinking, can articulate a creative vision and provide guidance, and has strong attention to detail and project management.
Job Responsibilities:
The role requires working collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups, including marketing leadership, internal partners and external agencies to help design effective brand initiatives from strategic development through execution.
- Be a strong contributor in the development and execution of brand marketing plans, including assessment of critical issues and the recommendation of strategic and tactical solutions
- Become an ambassador for the Brand team, being the point of contact for agency team members and brand partners that collaborate on an assigned project, directing teams on next steps and socializing key milestones to be met
- Champion marketing strategies throughout finance and legal discussions, building a strong case for the power of our work, and proactively guiding projects through the systems that will ensure a smooth delivery of brand and marketing priorities
- Become an expert storyteller, creating impactful presentations for meetings and key stakeholders including executive updates, line-of-business colleagues, and agency partners
- Immerse in the digital and mobile marketing ecosystem, becoming an expert in onboarding features that product teams want to have advertised via our mobile media and messaging framework
- Partner with marketing research to uncover key consumer insights and test creative ideas that will set inspiring direction for our world class creative agency partners to develop integrated, breakthrough advertising and messaging strategies
- Run point on assignments by creating project timelines, controlling the cadence of reviews and tracking of feedback/progress throughout the life of a project
- Support new and ongoing creative opportunities by taking ownership of creative executions from briefing and asset development through implementing tactics across channels
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- 4+ years of marketing / brand experience
- Knowledge of the creative process and strong instincts on how to create a plan of action that fits each project and brand initiative
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple clients and internal teams in a highly matrixed environment.
- Proven ability to develop strong relationship with colleagues, internal / external clients and vendors
- Excels in a dynamic, fast-paced, fluid environment with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and perform under pressure within tight deadlines
- Experience working with photography, video, digital, social and other asset types
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented; a passion for process and organization
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including presenting
