Are you a storyteller? Are you a creative content creator who loves the news? Sheffield has a lot to shout about and we are looking to add an Assistant Video Reporter to our busy media team here at Sheffield City Council.
This is an exciting opportunity to be creative, utilise our social media channels and be a content creator who can get under the surface to show what Sheffield is all about.
We are looking for someone with “news sense” who will bring energy and ideas to the table, and who can engage our communities with interesting, informing, and exciting video content - utilising our own social media channels as well as providing the media with quality website content.
You will employ great organisational skills with confident use of IT packages, including editing software or apps, with a commitment to providing newsworthy and high-quality content.
You will need the skills to work well under pressure to meet incredibly tight deadlines and turnaround video packages at speed in order to keep up with the news agenda.
