4 Assistant Managers to work in the Fostering, Adoption and Residential Service within Children's Services at Lancashire County Council – Our Children's Residential Service are recent winners of the prestigious National MJ Award for the Best Council Services Team

This is an exciting time to join our nationally acclaimed and award winning team who successfully run 15 care homes within Lancashire – our aim is to be a corporate parent to the children in our care and to make a positive and guiding impact in their lives whilst preparing them for adulthood – therefore we're delighted to announce we are investing in FIVE additional homes to support the children of Lancashire – so we are searching for 4 inspiring Assistant Residential Managers to join our brand new homes in Heysham and Clitheroe, opening in early 2023 – this fantastic opportunity will require you to support the Registered Managers whilst assisting in recruiting, leading, developing and nurturing a brand new team to support the children who need it most – so if you're ready to start the new year with this exciting and heart-warming challenge then please read on

Passion - Were looking for someone who's passion ate about young people and the difference that you can make to their lives and outcomes for the future – you'll be dynamic and inspirational with ethics, values and integrity always at the heart of what you do – you'll assist the Residential Manager in the smooth and efficient running of the new home from supervising teams and monitoring budgets – you'll be passionate about health and wellbeing of your team and the children you'll support – ensuring safeguarding is at the forefront of your priorities so you'll listen to children and young people's concerns and ensure the right strategies are in place to support them

Collaborative You'll have confidence in partnership working, collaborating at meetings with both internal and external agencies to ensure effective development of care services – this exciting role will see you co-ordinate a brand new team to operate the home to be a warm, safe and inclusive environment providing the best provision for children in our care - you'll assist in the recruitment of the team ensuring we choose those with the best values to join us - your caring approachable nature will build an open door policy and keep a consistent line of communication open for all – you'll ensure robust policies and procedures and assist the Registered Manager to build a vision that everyone will aspire to - so we'll need you to foster harmony, honesty and ensure a one team approach so everyone is supported and valued
