The Trust:
Redbridge Sports & Leisure is a thriving sporting complex run by Redbridge Sports Centre Trust Ltd. an independent charitable trust established in 1972. One of the largest venues of its kind, the Centre provides first-class sporting and social facilities, for its members and the local community.
The Job:
Redbridge Sports & Leisure is seeking a level 1 tennis assistant coach. Working in conjunction with the tennis coaching team overseen by the Tennis Development Officer, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to coach on the large junior course and squad programme.
The Person:
The applicant must be 18 years of age or over, a good team worker, good with children, able to work with a group on their own, enthusiastic, punctual and able to follow instructions.
Candidates must have:
§ A minimum of an LTA Level 1 qualification.
§ The ability to be very flexible (work will include daytime/evenings/weekends).
§ An up-to-date DBS check.
Desirable:
· Have experience of working on a junior course programme
The Facilities:
The facilities currently comprise 7 squash/racketball courts, a 5-court badminton hall, 6 floodlit artificial grass outdoor tennis courts, an 8-court indoor tennis initiative, 2 floodlit synthetic grass hockey/soccer pitches, 12 floodlit tarmac netball/tennis courts, grass soccer pitches, 100 station fitness suite, 2 dance studios, spinning room, health suite, therapy room, Sports Page bar, coffee shop, catering, functions room and bistro facility. A New Olympic-standard 12-court badminton/3 court netball hall with 2 studios and a large conference facility opened in January 2012.

Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £7.49-£10.42 per hour
