Activity will include (but is not limited to):
- carrying out assessment, selection and registration of freelance talent
- executing proactive and reactive outsourcing campaigns for various core services and communicating the results efficiently
- negotiating supplier rates in line with targets provided
- maintaining supplier records and the quality of the database
- providing reports for various departments
- assisting with interpreting assignments
- assisting with office management related tasks
- quality assurance and adherence to ISO 9001
As part of the Talent Management Department you will be contacting a wide variety of linguists worldwide. Additionally, you will be required to liaise with different departments within our business. This contact will be by email, on the phone, through online meetings or in person, so a high level of English is required.
- A professional qualification in Translation/Language Technologies or related discipline is required.
- A potential candidate needs to have at least 1 year of experience in Translation Talent Management, Project Management or related discipline.
We are a digitally enabled business in a high-tech industry so applicants should be computer literate and have experience in the following:
- MS Office (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Intermediate – Advanced
Full training will be provided but applicants should feel confident in using and learning new technologies. Knowledge of CAT tools is desirable but not compulsory. Experience with interpreting is a plus.
We are looking for a proactive candidate with a can-do attitude and interest in languages. Multitasking and team work are key in this role and are required on a daily basis. Pressure handling and problem solving skills as well as very good time management should be at a high level so that you are able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
As our Talent Managers are required to interact with suppliers, clients and all members of the Codex Group, it is essential that applicants have very strong interpersonal and communication skills. The position is perfect for energetic personalities who enjoy working in a dynamic team and thrive on building rapport with 3rd parties.
