We have some exciting opportunities for enthusiastic, well organised people to join our busy Stores team on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.
These roles are full-time positions, working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (07:30 – 18:45).
Roles and Responsibilities
As an Assistant Stores Person, you will be trained and supported in your new role. Your duties will include, but not limited to:
· Receiving incoming aircraft parts, tooling, and commercial items.
· Delivering processed parts to end users whilst keeping accurate records.
· Returning surplus-to-requirement and unserviceable parts via the reverse supply chain.
· Maintaining commercial stock levels at point of use.
· Issuing, returning, and controlling company tooling, identifying serviceability and missing elements.
· Picking and issuing parts in line with customer demand.
· Accurately and safely locating stock and managing shelf life dates.
· Forklift driving duties.
Profile
The ideal candidate will:
· Be educated to minimum GCSE grade C/4 or above and have good IT skills (including Microsoft Office).
· Have knowledge of warehousing policies and protocols and Health and Safety legislation (an advantage but not essential).
· Have a valid UK driving license and a current Fork Lift Truck license (an advantage but not essential).
Starting salary of £23,943.00 per annum plus shift allowance of £2000.02 per annum.
