Job description
A new role as an assistant manager has arisen for a premium British accessories brand. The company is widely known for their design and manufacturing of handbags, purses and other women's accessories for UK and international markets. This opportunity is within their store based in Dalton Park, County Durham.
This opportunity requires the chosen candidate to be available for full time hours as this is a permanent role.
What you’ll be working on:
- Managing store team members and delegating tasks where appropriate to ensure merchandising
- Managing the day to day running of the store
- Responsible for assisting with training of new staff members in relation to customer service standards, merchandising standards, and software systems
Who you are:
- Operations minded and feels confident working to administrative tasks such as updating spreadsheets and other shared documents digitally
- Ability to work in a busy store environment
- Relevant store experience or experience as a store supervisor in retail
- Ability to work well in a team and confidently manage others
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
