Position: Assistant Store Manager

Location: Birstall, Leeds

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Working days: 5 days over 7 (including weekends)

Salary: Guaranteed earnings of £45,000-£60,000+ (including basic salary of £25k-£30k per year (dependent on experience) + bonus + commission). We pay commission the very next month, so you don't have to wait for 15+ weeks for items to be delivered before getting your commission, like with our competitors!

Responsibilities:

· Supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day operations

· Supervising the team in the absence of the Store Manager

· Greet, assist, demonstrate and sell our products to customers

· Deal with all customer queries and complaints in a professional manner, in line with company procedures

Skills:

- Must have experience of managing people

- Experience of working within sales and retail/FMCG

- Ability to manage people and have a clear dichotomy between yourself and subordinates

- Must have strong selling skills

- Ability to have difficult conversations is a must

- Effective communicator at all levels

- Awareness of KPIs, expectations and deadlines

- Strong admin and analytical skills
