Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Type: 40 x hour contract

Location: Mapperley, Nottinghamshire

Salary: £11.25 per hour

About the Role:

As an Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible supporting the delivery of store sales & contribution growth across both Retail and Service categories, through industry leading customer service standards. To deputise and be responsible for the operation of the store in the Manager’s absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional Retail Store Standards across all customer facing and ‘back of house’ areas.
  • Plan and execute changes to promotions, campaigns and events in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Deliver TPC performance ahead of targets set.
  • Be part of creating and managing a positive customer service culture in the store.
  • Take part in stock management activities such as weekly stock counts.
  • Contribute to the working of store deliveries – move stock to the warehouse, shelves merchandised correctly, and deliveries managed in a timely fashion.
  • Able to run back-office tasks such as order placement or rota development in the Store Managers absence.
  • Ensure store, team and personal compliance with all company policies and procedures relating to the control of Cash, Stock, Store and Staff are in place and adhered to.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety compliance is up to date within the store – Risk Assessments, First Aid, Fire Safety, Staff Safety.
  • Key Holder responsibility
