Job description
Due to an internal promotion, Jobstore are recruiting for a new Assistant Manager to join a leading Forecourt business to help lead the retail team at this busy garage location just outside of Wrexham.
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic candidate who has management or supervisory experience in the retail sector. Any previous experience in running a petrol station would be beneficial although not essential. A background in Retail is a Must.
You will;
- Be accountable for the shop in the alongside and in the absence of the shop manager, responsible for ensuring that customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
- Take responsibility for motivating and guiding the team to ensure the control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
- Support the shop manager with recruitment and induction of new team members.

In return this business will provide a competitive salary of between £23,000-£24,000 plus a bonus scheme that will provide up to £6,500 per year on top. You will also be provided with an extensive benefits package that includes a whole range of store discounts, loyalty bonus, pension and more.
