To provide consistent shift support, ensuring efficient production and the highest standards of quality. Driving performance through training and development to muscle build the production team to deliver a first class product to our customers
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring labour usage, materials usage, finished goods
- Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all production reconciliation.
- Ensure Oracle and associated databases are maintained accurately.
- Deliver consistent training and assessment to all Associates in line with business needs & maintain relevant trackers.
- Develop new SSOW, SOP’s, reviewing and revising current material.
- Deliver in house training courses to an agreed timescale and standards.
- Carry out induction training for all new starters, including manual handling, H&S, personal, site & hygiene rules.
- Carry out all reviews in line with the business plan including new starters & 6 monthly reviews.
- Step-up to Unit Manager to cover for absence and holiday
- Site decision maker in the event of out of hours or when no other senior members on site.
- To supervise the daily control and all loading activity of products and to affect the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the warehouse, goods in and yard departments to maximize operational efficiency, whilst maintaining the required standards
- Enforcing company policies and procedures such as HACCP, GMP and CAYGO
- To be skilled and fully proficient in all areas of plant management processes, highlighting any deviations that may impact the business or supply.
- All raw materials and packaging are available in accordance with the production plan.
- Identify talent & develop a succession plan to meet the future needs of the business
- Complete regular reviews with identified associates to ensure Development plans are adhered to.
- Ensure continual associate engagement through development
- Achieve KPI targets as set by the business.
- Ensure that all performance measures are reported within the designated timescales
- Follow up on anomalies and trends with corrective actions
- Ensure all training is delivered against the plan and agreed timescales
- Report any health & safety concerns, attend site H&S Meetings, closeout any actions for area.
- Assisting with risk assessments, ensuring associates are compliant.
- Manage associates in line with the emergency and evacuations procedures.
- Ensure associates are compliant regarding environmental roles and responsibilities.
